Join me as I support the UC Brain Tumor Center at the 2025 Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries on Sunday, October 19th!
Why do I walk? I was diagnosed with a benign meningioma in 2013. It was successfully removed, but left me with nerve damage in my right eye as well as facial numbness on the right side. I also have damage to my pituitary from the radiation I had after surgery. I walk in support of those that were not as lucky as me, and who we have lost due to malignant brain tumors. I also walk in support of my mother, whom I lost to breast cancer in 2006. She fought long and hard to beat her cancer, she was and still is the strongest lady I have ever met.
