Why I support the Walk for the Animals and the Humane Society of Broward County

Hi everyone - thanks for coming to my Walk for the Animals fundraising page! As you all know, the Humane Society of Broward County is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I am so proud of the work we do day in and day out! I am also happy to have some special family members that were lovingly adopted from the shelter.

Our current menagerie includes Gertie, a senior pup who was removed from a condemned building, Link, a senior cat that was hit by a car and needed surgery to amputate a hind leg and his tail, Hazel, a kitty that originally stayed with us as a foster while recovering from having 4 broken legs, and Tallulah AKA Tiny, a cat that needed a front leg amputated due to a deformity. All of these animals were given a second chance at life thanks to the Humane Society of Broward County.

Their stories are possible because donors like you support the shelter through direct donations, events like the Walk, leaving a portion of your estate, etc. There are so many ways to help the animals and I hope that you will help me reach my goal to make a difference. I love to give back to the organization that has given me so much!
