For over 34 years, the Walk for the Animals has been the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser, making a life-changing difference for thousands of animals every year. Your donation to the Walk directly supports their mission, providing vital veterinary care, food, shelter, and so much more to every animal that comes through their doors.

Animal welfare is incredibly close to my heart, and organizations like Humane Broward are tackling a critical issue in our community—the overwhelming number of homeless pets. The volume of stray and abandoned animals in our country is staggering, particularly in the southeastern United States. I once heard a military veteran say that, despite traveling to many countries in the Middle East, they had never seen as many stray and abandoned pets as they have here. The Humane Society of Broward County works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these animals, giving them a second chance at life while educating the community on responsible pet ownership.
