Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the APDA Optimism Walk 2026
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in March 2002. As I continue my fight against this disease, I have promised my friends, family, and especially my Parkinson’s Peeps to “Never Give Up!” A big THANK YOU to All who continue to encourage me.
Through God’s Grace I and some of my Peeps will once again participate in the APDA Optimism Walk on Saturday June 20 to raise money to fight against this confusing and at times debilitating disease. Due to progression of PD my goal for this year is less but I am still trying raise $1000. I am using my new wheelchair, a special gift from God and other’s donations to help me purchase the chair.
I named my new wheelchair “Faith” because I believe God will help me with the new challenges I am now facing. I am also participating in memory of some of my “Parkinson’s Peeps” who walked with me in the past but are no longer with us or are unable to participate.
