In October of 2025 my mom passed away with Parkinson's. In February of 2026, I was diagnosed with it. God is good in that I was finishing up my 9th year of teaching and plans to retire were already in place. However, it is still a hard diagnosis to get, especially after watching my mom progress through the disease.
I’m walking to make a difference for the Parkinson’s disease (PD) community, and I’d love your support. Every six minutes, someone is diagnosed with PD.
