This walk is especially meaningful to our family because we are walking for our mom.
Our mom is the best. ❤️ She has always been there for all five of her kids through every season of our lives. She has supported us, encouraged us, cheered us on, and somehow always managed to be there whenever we needed her. And now, we want to support her the same way she has supported all of us our entire lives.
She is also the bestest Grandma, and we are so incredibly lucky to have her. We want her to know just how much she means to all of us and that she doesn't have to face this journey alone.
We’re walking to make a difference for our mom and for the entire Parkinson’s disease (PD) community, and we’d love your support.
Every six minutes, someone is diagnosed with PD. The funds we raise will help the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) provide:
- Local education, information, and support for people impacted by PD
- Nationwide virtual programs to keep everyone connected, no matter where they live
- Scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately a cure
