Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2026 APDA RI Optimism Walk and 5K Fun Run!

If you know me, you know how much this cause means to me. When my sister Alicia and I first started Team Golomboski back in 2014, our goal was simple: to honor our father, Joseph Sr., and support him through his journey with Early On-Set Parkinson’s disease.

Watching my dad face PD taught me everything I know about resilience. Though we lost him in 2019, his fighting spirit is the reason I lace up my sneakers every single year. He is the "why" behind my deep dedication to this community, driving me to serve as both the chair of the walk committee and the President of the APDA RI Chapter Board of Directors.

Over the years, Team Golomboski has built something truly special. Together with the incredible generosity of friends, family, and our community, we've raised over $20,000 for the APDA. But the fight isn't over, and this year, I want us to push even harder.

Every six minutes, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's. The funds we raise stay right here to make a tangible impact by providing:

• Crucial local support and educational programs for Rhode Islanders living with PD and their families.

• Virtual lifelines that keep the community connected across the country.

• Funding for cutting-edge scientific research to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
