Abby was diagnosed Oct 31, 2023 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia- Cell B. She was 8 years old at the time. Before her diagnosis she was so full of life and energy. Then, over a small period of time (starting in the summer) she just wasn't acting like herself anymore and had unexplained pain EVERYWHERE. I finally was able to get them to run blood tests after multiple doctors visits. That's when we found out about her cancer. That little girl that seemed so fragile at that time has been kicking cancers butt everyday for just over 2 years now. No matter the hospital stays or the secondary illnesses like the flu or covid, she's never given up. She's been my warrior and my strength. Her courage has continued giving me courage and she's grown into such a remarkable child while having to tackle cancer head on. I can't even put into words how proud I am to be her mom.
