Investment Banking Managing Director Charlie Crowley, in his personal capacity, has been involved as a Board Member of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland for many years, including serving as Chairperson from 2021-2023. Throughout the years, Charlie and his team have enjoyed an afternoon filled with food, fun, and bowling for this wonderful cause.

Junior Achievement is a great organization that introduces children to economics and the free enterprise system as an important complement to the regular K-12 social studies curriculum. The students have fun in the classroom and gain practical knowledge and skills that can help them in a variety of areas, including setting career goals and developing an awareness of personal financial considerations.

The most exciting development at Junior Achievement this past year has been the opening of the Experiential Learning Center in downtown Cleveland. In this hands-on field trip space, students can participate in programs such as JA Finance Park, where they can learn about budgeting, saving and investing with the help of local business community volunteers. They can also get exposure to a variety of types of employers as they think ahead to career possibilities.
