I’m proud to be participating in the Dempsey Challenge in honor of my dad, Trevor Maxwell. This year I will be participating alongside some of the members of Man Up to Cancer, as well as my best friends who have been nothing but incredibly supportive during the past few years of his cancer journey. 

My dad is the founder of Man Up to Cancer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping men face cancer with strength, honesty, and community. He created it to break the stigma that men have to fight alone—and to remind people that asking for support is a form of courage, not weakness. Watching him turn something so difficult into a source of connection and support for others has been incredibly inspiring to me.

The Dempsey Center provides free, comprehensive care for individuals and families navigating cancer, offering resources that truly make a difference. Through this challenge, I’m honoring my dad and and his wolfpack by supporting a cause that helps so many people feel less alone.
