Help Me Raise $20K for the Dempsey Center — 20 Years Strong

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2026 Dempsey Challenge.

This year is deeply personal. It marks 20 years since I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. To honor that milestone, I’m setting a goal to raise $20,000 for the Dempsey Center—so more Maine cancer patients and their families can get the support they need, right when they need it.

Since joining in 2024, our small but mighty team, The Midcoast McDreamys, has raised nearly $34,000. Along the way, I’ve been honored as a Dempsey Champion -- an experience that’s given me the opportunity to meet Patrick Dempsey and Mary Dempsey, and see the care, intention, and vision behind what their family has built.

The Dempsey Challenge supports the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by Patrick Dempsey to make life better for people impacted by cancer. The Center provides free support services -- physical, emotional, and spiritual -- for patients, survivors, and care partners at any stage of their journey.

As both a cancer survivor and someone who works in oncology, I know how critical this kind of support is. Cancer affects every part of life and the Dempsey Center shows up for people in ways that truly matter.
