Cancer is go straight to hell! We lost my Dad back in 2000 and then my son, Johnathan "Rocket", had to battle for 4 years against Ewing Sarcoma. Johnny Rocket never once complained and was a warrior. Although he laid down his sword on July 17th, 2025, he is my hero and no longer in pain. I fully intend to honor him and #TeamRocket for all of my days. Rockets weren't meant to be grounded...they were meant to soar in the sky!!

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
