I'm raising money for the Dempsey Center!

For the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of partifcipating ins the Dempsey Challenge in honor of my all-time best friend, Lisa Hafer, who courageously fought ovarian cancer.  She chose the Dempsey Challenge (well, maybe she chose Patrick:)) as her battleground and where to focus her energy.  She fought incredibly hard and ran this race with indomitable spirit year after year.  Lisa is MY hero with her unwavering friendship not only to me but to so many as well as modeling how to be a kick ass parent.  Lisa was a true warrior who inspired everyone around her. Her detrinimation to keep running even in the face of adersity, symbolized her strength and spirit - what we all love! 

To keep her Dempsey Challenge legacy alive and continue supporting the cause she held dear, I am once again participating in the the Dempsey Challenge with our COMMITTED Women of Steal team.  Thank you all who join and support and walk/run wherever you may be in honor or our dear friend.   Your support means the world to me and it honors the memory of a truly remarkable person who touched so many lives.
