Running to honor my friend Lauren Sapienza

I'm raising money for the Dempsey Center!

Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the Dempsey Challenge. This year, we are coming together to form a team called Lauren's Lemons, to honor my dear friend and former colleague, Lauren Sapienza. Lauren was in a tragic car accident in January of 2026. The Dempsey Center was a place that was near and dear to Lauren's heart, and so there is no better way to pay it forward in her honor, than to raise funds for this organization. 

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.

With a donation made to my page, you can help support thousands of cancer patients, survivors, care partners, and their loved ones. Gifts of any amount will provide no-cost support for years to come.
