Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge!

The Dempsey Challenge is the premier fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of treatment and improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey—all at no cost.

This cause is deeply personal to me. During my battle with colon cancer in 2016, the Dempsey Center provided invaluable support, services, and resources that helped my family and me navigate an incredibly scary and uncertain time. Their care made a lasting difference in our lives, and I am forever grateful.

This year, I am running not only in support of those currently facing cancer, but also in memory of my work friend, Michelle, and my beautiful sister-in-law, Holly—both of whom we lost far too soon. Their strength and spirit continue to inspire me every day.
