2026 Dempsey Challenge

Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for this year's Dempsey Challenge!

It’s been just over 5 years ago since I was diagnosed with acute b-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). At the time of my diagnosis things were very much up in the air. My treatment of just over 8 months of intense chemotherapy was difficult on me and my family. I was severely immunocompromised with 2 young children and a wife working full time during a pandemic. I was very fortunate to be able to lean on my community of friends and family during that time. Living here in Maine, I was also able take advantage of the Dempsey Center which provided many resources for both me and my wife at no cost to us. As the time got closer to the 5 year anniversary of my diagnosis, my wife and I decided to take part in the Dempsey Challenge this September 19^th as way to try and give back to our Maine community and others dealing with the many challenges and difficulties of a cancer diagnosis. We have committed to riding 65 miles to raise money for the Dempsey Center and patients and caregivers affected by cancer. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated.
