Why are we doing this?

Why are we doing this? We found the Dempsey Center because David is a recent Lymphoma cancer survivor and so we saw first hand how this organization helps people. We saw how their chartitable giving works for those in need, from the Nutrition Center and Kitchen to provide cancer preventative meals, to Acupuncture that helps with the Neuropathy from cancer, to the book library where we can learn about all kinds of things, to the workout facility and meditation center - all free of charge to those cancer survivors and their care givers - all because of fund raising like the Dempsey Challenge - so now it is our time to give back.

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
