I’m participating in DogFest because Redi gave me something I once struggled to see, a future worth believing in. For a long time, I fought to accept my disability and felt unsure of who I was or what my life could become. Redi didn’t change my disability, but he changed what I believed was possible because of it. He gave me purpose, confidence, independence, and the courage to dream about my future again.
That’s why this mission means so much to me. Canine Companions doesn’t just provide expertly trained service dogs completely free of charge, it invests in people and in the futures they deserve to have. I know what that investment can mean because I am living it. I support DogFest because I want others to know that their future is worth investing in, too.
Your support isn’t just helping to provide a expertly trained service dog, it’s giving someone the chance to find their purpose, believe in themselves, and see a future they may have stopped believing was possible.
Redi gave me back my belief in tomorrow. I want to help give someone else theirs.
