I'm participating in DogFest North Central 2026 because I believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge. WHY do I believe in their mission? I have experienced for myself the immense blessing a dog can bring to a life, and I know for myself how important it is to have a special friend who can be there to help and encourage you through the rough spots of daily life. A well-trained service dog does all that and more for a person with a disbility.
