Join Rosie’s Rockstars at the DSANV Buddy Walk! OCTOBER 10, 2026, Lake Fairfax in Reston - Festivities start at 12pm and the BUDDY Walk is at 3pm!
Our sweet Rosie has brought so much joy, love, laughter, and perspective into our lives, and we are so excited to celebrate her and the incredible Down syndrome community at this year’s DSANV Buddy Walk!
The Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia (DSANV) has become an organization that is very close to our hearts. Having a child with Down syndrome comes with so many beautiful moments, but it also means navigating a world you may not have expected. Organizations like DSANV provide families with connection, support, resources, advocacy, and — most importantly — a community of people who truly understand.
We have felt that love and support firsthand, which is why events like the Buddy Walk and World Down Syndrome Day mean so much to us. They are a chance to celebrate people with Down syndrome, promote inclusion and acceptance, and help ensure that families like ours continue to have a strong community behind them.
We would LOVE for our family and friends to join Rosie’s Rockstars and walk alongside us!

Can’t make it to the walk? You can still be part of Rosie’s Rockstars by donating toward her team! Every donation helps support DSANV and the programs, resources, advocacy, and community they provide to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
