In April 2025, we lost our daughter in the middle of our second trimester. My experiences of loss on my family-building journey have shaped my current perspectives on the importance of open dialogue to help normalize women’s experiences. In honor of Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month, I am participating in the Footsteps for Family Building Walk to raise money for AllPaths. AllPaths’ mission is to create a caring, inclusive space for anyone struggling with loss or infertility. I have personally found emotional support and resources through AllPaths, including through monthly support groups, which have been a lifeline to me at such a difficult time. Every dollar raised helps AllPaths continue to advocate for all paths to parenthood.
