Join our team for the 2026 Friends of the Poor Walk on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Heckscher State Park!

We are walking to help make a difference in our community and support neighbors in need. Every donation helps provide assistance and hope to local families and individuals.

The 5K walk path stretches through the beautiful waterfront scenery of Heckscher State Park, making this a fun and meaningful event for friends and families of all ages.

We hope you will join our team, support our efforts, and help us make an impact together!

Participant Check-In & T-Shirt Pickup

Check-in and event t-shirt pickup begin at 9:00 A.M.

Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 A.M.

Please Note: Dogs are not permitted at Heckscher State Park.
