Why I Walk

I walk in memory of my Mother, whose journey with Alzheimer’s touched every part of my life. I was her caregiver during the final three years of her life, and I experienced firsthand the heartbreak of this disease—as well as the importance of support for both those living with Alzheimer’s and the families who care for them.

Today, my connection to Memory Matters continues as a Board member and advocate. I walk to honor my Mother, support other families on this journey, and help raise awareness and funds for the vital work Memory Matters does in our community.
