Why I Walk

I walk for my grandmother better known as (Momma, Ruthie, Pie and Nana).  She was a true inspiration to everyone she met, especially when having Alzheimer's became her journey in life.

More than 6 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's. Seventy-three percent are age 75 or older. About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older (10.7%) has Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's begins 20 years or more before memory loss and other symptoms develop. The time is now to act - let's support those who are already suffering and protect ourselves, our children and future generations from this devastating disease.
