Why I Walk

I will be participating again this year in the Golden Isles Alzheimer's Walk (November 7) in memory of my mother-in-law, Eveline Theriault, and for all others lost or suffering from this disease. Funds raised from this event benefit Memory Matters Glynn, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to support, educate, and enrich the lives of people dealing with this disease and those who care for them. Specifically, funds raised help provide free support groups, counseling services, educational programs, social activities, caregiver respite opportunities, and resources for families throughout the local area. A portion of the funds also support the Goizueta Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Emory University. Please consider making a donation to this worthy cause. Thank you for your support!
