Why I Walk

Join me in my commitment to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, care and support. As many of you know I have family members who have suffered with Alzheimer's, so this event means a lot to me! 100% of the money raised will stay in Glynn county to help individuals with Alzheimer's and other cognitive issues, as well as, support for their care givers. You can support my efforts by making a donation or joining my team and walking with me on November 8, 2025.

More than 6 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's. Seventy-three percent are age 75 or older. About 1 in 9 people age 65 and older (10.7%) has Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's begins 20 years or more before memory loss and other symptoms develop. The time is now to act - let's support those who are already suffering and protect ourselves, our children and future generations from this devastating disease.
