The revenues from Michigan's Hero Walk events are essentialto help ensure that no person with Parkinson’s in Michigan is without quality care and support.The need for MPF’s respite care program has increased twenty-fold, providing $10,000 to families in 2018 to more than $283,000 and 13,885 hours to 176 families in 2024. WoW.The need is going to be bigger than ever this year. To date, Michigan Parkinsons Foiundation has been able to say “YES” to all of these fighters, their familiies, and others who care for them. I have my gloves on at Rock Steady Boxing, fighting fatigue and leg cramps, working hard on balance. The frustration of trying to speak words that refuse to come to my brain as needed, irritates me to no end. The rigid muscles that Mike has from Parkinsons are in his shoulder.
