I’m honored to participate in the 2026 Huntsville Walk with the ABS Trojan volleyball team in support of the National Ataxia Foundation, a cause that is deeply personal to my family.

My father, Lee Fulcher, is battling Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 6 (SCA6), a progressive neurological disease that affects balance, coordination, speech, and everyday mobility. Watching someone you love face the challenges of ataxia gives this walk a meaning that goes far beyond fundraising for me.

I’m walking for my dad, for every family affected by ataxia, and for the hope that continued research will lead to better treatments and, one day, a cure.
