Sun Dragon Seido Karate & Self Defense is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that teaches violence prevention and Seido karate to students of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. KJ is a 5th degree black belt who has been training at Sun Dragon since 1999 and Laura is a 4th degree black belt who has been training since 2008. How does martial arts training help our students? Sun Dragon Martial Arts & Self Defense is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that teaches violence prevention and Seido Karate to students of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. How does martial arts training help our students? Seido Karate training at Sun Dragon benefits students physically by improving their coordination, balance, agility, increasing flexibility and building strength. Students grow emotionally, learning to better understand themselves, read others and social situations, and create a better-balanced life inside and outside of the dojo. Sun Dragon is built on the twin foundations of Seido Karate and Empowerment Self Defense, which work together to help our students learn to care about their friends, set boundaries in their relationships, explore strategies for when things go wrong, and learn to expect respect from others and extend it in turn.
As an organization we have set a goal of $45,000.00 for the 2026 Kickathon. We would appreciate any amount you can provide toward that goal.
