I am so excited to be on mission with Biking for Babies again and to partner with you in promoting the Culture of Life. My name is Joseph Massaro, and I am a middle school theology teacher and the Rider Team Leader for the Ohio East Route. This July, I will be riding nearly 600 miles from Columbus, Ohio to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to raise awareness and support for the Gospel of Life.
How does riding close to 600 miles accomplish this mission?
On its own, a week-long bike ride does very little. The long days in the sun and the physical challenge would mean little if I were doing this alone. This mission depends on a community—and that includes you.
“The Culture of Life begins with you” is a phrase that has stayed with me since my time as a missionary with Biking for Babies. During my first National Ride in the summer of 2023, I encountered in a profound way my own worth and dignity. That experience changed my life.
Through this mission, Biking for Babies proclaims a powerful truth: every person is a beloved son or daughter with immeasurable worth and dignity.
