Why We Walk
This year, Alina would have turned 10. Instead, we walk in her memory.
Alina passed away due to complications from Preeclampsia after being born premature. Our team walks to honor Alina and to raise awareness about preeclampsia so that other families may never have to experience this kind of heartbreak.
Through this walk, we are also helping raise funds for critical research, education, and programs that work to protect mothers and babies.
If sharing Alina’s story helps save even one mother or baby, then every step we take in her memory matters. Thank you for supporting our team, remembering Alina, and helping create hope for other families.
