Love needs no words Nick was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) just before his second birthday. At that time, he was completely nonverbal—he couldn’t point to objects, make eye contact, or communicate his needs in a way that others could understand. Over the past few years, we have been incredibly blessed with a supportive team that has become more like family. Through endless hard work, patience, and determination, Nick has made remarkable progress. He now uses scripting, points to communicate, utilizes a communication device, is fully potty trained, and knows every letter, number, and shape. While we celebrate these incredible milestones, autism is lifelong, and many of the daily struggles and challenges happen quietly, away from public view. Nick’s journey is a testament to his strength, perseverance, and the power of unwavering support, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far he has come.
