It was low vision that first introduced me to the Ligthhouse. My Grandma Alice was an English major and a life long reader. Even as her age started to take her vision she continued to enjoy liturature with her big magnafiiers and large print books. She was not giving up her passion! She didn't have to because the Lighthouse gave her the tools and skills she needed to read well into her 80s. 

Being able to enjoy good liturature was a joy and passion but with the tools from the Lighthouse Grandma could read her bills, mail, grocercy lists, and everything else she needed to remain at home and independent. That was everything.
