The Hudson Myles journey was a tough 279 days. It spanned across the country, a long 2723 miles. He took a helicopter, plane, car, and more. He fought through 7 surgeries, countless hours of PT, but never walked. Part of this was because he was so snuggable, he was always in someones arms. We walk to share steps as friends and family who carry his legacy and message of love and hope. Hope for more understanding, support, and knowledge for Hudson and his friends. We walk as he is a part of our hearts and take the steps he isn't here to. Hudson was a very loving, silly, and giving child. He would want to walk to support his friends and DS family. Many people dedicated themselves to Hudson and in return we dedicate ourselves to helping grow, support, and care for a community that was so welcoming to someone they unfortunately will not get the chance to meet in-person. He is in our hearts every day smiling and filling us with love and hope that there is always a beautiful day ahead. That is why we walk, we walk for the love of our son.
