Mike is now 19 years old, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible young man he has become. 

Mike loves his school at Walt Whitman, playing pickleball, softball and bocce, participating in Best Buddies, and spending time with the many amazing friends he has made along the way. And Mike truly loves life! He loves traveling and discovering new places, enjoys good food more than just about anyone we know, and absolutely loves music.

As he grows into adulthood, Mike has also been participating in transitional and job-training opportunities, developing new skills, gaining confidence, and becoming more independent. Watching him grow, build friendships, discover his interests, and find his place in the world has been an incredible journey.

Mike is such a meaningful and important part of our family. He reminds us every day of the importance of inclusion, community, opportunity, and believing in every person’s potential.
