At SwimLabs Montgomery County, inclusion has been part of who we are since we opened our doors in 2018. We believe every swimmer deserves the opportunity to feel safe, confident, successful, and welcomed in the water.

Our connection to the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County is especially meaningful. Our General Manager, Margo Kim, is the proud mom of Taegon, a 14 year old with Down syndrome who inspires her every day. Through Margo, SwimLabs became connected with the DSNMC community, and that relationship has continued to grow over the years.

SwimLabs owner Denise Dombay attended her first Step Up Walk, met DSNMC families, and quickly saw how special this community is. SwimLabs became a DSNMC sponsor, and Denise later joined the DSNMC Board of Directors, where she now serves as Secretary.

Today, our partnership goes beyond sponsorship. We are proud to provide adaptive swim instruction and programming for DSNMC families and to create a place where swimmers of all abilities can learn, grow, and belong.
