2026 Walk to Fight Hunger

Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry

Humanist Values in Action

For the Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry, helping others is fundamental to our humanist values. We believe in our responsibility to one another and in building a more compassionate and equitable community through human action.

We put those values into practice year-round, including monthly volunteer shifts at the Lowcountry Food Bank and food distribution with Park Circle Cares. On September 26, we’re taking that commitment a step further by participating in LCFB’s 6th annual Walk to Fight Hunger.

More than 204,000 people across coastal South Carolina face food insecurity, including more than 48,000 children. Funds raised through the Walk directly support LCFB programs serving our neighbors throughout the region—and every $1 donated can help provide 3 meals.

Please support our team and help us put humanist values into action. Learn more about Secular Humanists of the Lowcountry at lowcountryhumanists.org.
