Walk for the Animals

Saturday, October 3 at 1 p.m. at Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge

Every Step You Take Saves a Life!

Join us for the 34th Annual Walk for the Animals--the Capital Area Humane Society's beloved community fundraiser.

Walk alongside fellow animal lovers, bring your dog, and raise money that goes directly to the care of homeless pets in our community.

About the Walk

Right now, there are dogs and cats at the Capital Area Humane Society who need you.

They arrived scared, sick, or alone. Our staff and volunteers welcomed them, gave them names, and started caring for them immediately. But that care--the food, the medicine, the warmth, is only possible because of community events like the Walk for the Animals.

Every dollar you raise funds the lifeline that keeps our shelter running. And every step you take on October 3 tells those homeless pets: we see you. We're fighting for you.

This is your invitation to be part of that fight.

How it works:

1. Register and create your personal fundraising page in minutes.

2. Fundraise by sharing your page with friends, family, and coworkers.

3. Walk by joining us on October 3 at Fitzgerald Park for a fun-filled afternoon.

The walk is 1-mile. The impact lasts all year.

Even if you can't attend, you can still donate to support a walker, or make a general donation to the event.
