Hello Everyone!

I’m dedicating my 5K Run in the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend to my friend Suzy Pijanowski (see picture above).  Suzy became an ANGEL on June 4, 2025 after a strong fight to beat Parkinson.  Suzy was a fun loving and caring person who enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her friends, going to concerts, and visiting Paris.  Some of my fondest memories of Suzy were of attending Duran Duran and Rick Springfield concerts at Mountain Winery, spending my Birthday in Capitola with dinner at Shadowbrook, and our Sunday Morning Girls Breakfasts.  Suzy was really special to me and others in our community.

This 5k run/walk will help raise money for the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), this organization is dedicated to supporting and empowering those who are impacted by Parkinson’s disease (PD). They promote hope and optimism through innovative services, programs, education, and support, while also funding vital research.

The goal is to raise at least $2,500 for APDA and I hope you can help me meet this goal.  Together, we can help others who are still fighting the fight to beat Parkinson Disease.
