Wallace and Whitleigh Runyon were born in the summer of 2017.
Dad, Mom and big sister Ansleigh were so excited!
Whitleigh was born with VACTERl association. She had surgery at 48 hours old to repair her esophagus and windpipe. She had to learn to thrive in the NICU for 30 days. Ronald McDonald House became our home that summer. We were blessed to be able to stay at the House that Love Built.
Whitleigh has now been through 11 surgeries and our family has spent numerous nights at Ronald McDonald House while she is in recovery. The staff is always amazing. We live 45 miles away, so being close to her while she is admitted is an answer to prayer.
We are very thankful for the room, the meals and the kindness of others.
