This year the money that you donate will support Neonatology at Children's Hospital. I have a special connection with the Neonatal Unit at Children's Hospital. I was born with Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome, and I have gone through five open heart surgeries. All of my surgeries have been done at different Children's Hospitals throughout the country. I had my first four surgeries before the age of three. I underwent the Glen, Norewood, and Fontan surgeries. I had my fifth surgery to replace my aordic valve at the beginning of my eighth grade year. Children's Hospital has played such a vital role in my life all the way from routine checkups to major surgeries.
