Poverty can be exhausting. Struggling to adapt to life after prison is isolating. Finding yourself on your own at 18 is lonely. 

I've seen mentors provide a support system that helps move people forward to making better choices and to believing more in themselves.  When people stay housed and out of prison, they can build a better life and give back.

With the right training and ongoing support, mentors stay engaged and learn too. They can discover that we all share the same hopes and dreams.
