Hello!
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the APDA Optimism Walk! My Dad impressed upon me the value and importance of a solid work ethic. After he retired he wanted to relax, having put in long hours of hard work. Staying active wasn't something he embraced. Sadly, this caused his Parkinson's Disease to take him from us pretty quickly. I make a point to keep my family as active as possible -

Please help me reach a goal to make it so more people have a chance. We need to support and encourage those close to us who are making the effort to stay active and therefore embracing the effects of this disease.

Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD).
Funds raised enable the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) to continue providing local education, information, and support, as well as critical nationwide virtual programs to keep everyone supported and connected no matter where they live. You will also help fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately a cure.
