I’m walking because of one incredible woman. My wife, Desy.

Before she was diagnosed, I had never even heard of Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS). Then it became our world. We spent months hoping, fighting, and believing we’d get more time. We didn’t.

Team Desy is my way of keeping her memory alive while helping other families facing MDS. If I can raise awareness, support research, and help even one family have a better outcome than we did, then every step is worth it.
