Five years ago, my mom left this world for the next, after a ten year duel with three rounds of ovarian cancer, and complications from myelodysplastic syndrome, likely a result of the life-prolonging radiation treatments she received. Though she is terribly missed, your remembrance of her through your generosity has helped and continues to help fund research, including on treatments that were still unknown as mom was cared for by her incredible physican team.
