Colleen Hazlett-O'Brien

We are very excited to be participating in the “Young Heroes 5K Walk/Run and Kiddie K" on September 29, 2019 to raise funds for the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. 

Sadly, cancer and blood disorders touches so many children’s lives.  This past January, our son Caleb was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Immediately after being diagnosed he was admitted to Nemours and began chemo three days later.  The treatment he has recieved has been incredible and all of his caregivers (Nurses, Doctors, Medical Techs, Social Workers, Physical Therapists) are truly remarkable.  So we are hoping to raise money for this wonderful institution that has made coping with the most difficult time of our lives possible.
