FESTIVAL INFORMATION

Welcome To Our Dragon Boat Family!

Join us at The Dream Factory Manitoba Ice Dragon Boat Festival as we raise funds to make dreams come true for Manitoba kids who are battling life-threatening illnesses. The festival takes place on Sunday February 17th, 2019 (from 11 AM - 4 PM) at the Manitoba Canoe & Kayak Club on 80 Churchill Dr. in Winnipeg (MAP).  We promise you fun and safe "paddling" and a family friendly event.

For this event, our dragon boats are fitted to a lightweight frame that houses four long skate - type "blades" , complete with brakes and a steering "oar" which steers the rear set of blades.. Paddle blades are replaced by a hinged "hoof" that has retractabe spikes that grip the ice to allow a "paddling" stroke for propulsion. If you think dragon boating on the water is fun, on ice it is even "cooler"!

Online Registration is under way! With our quick and easy registration process, you can sign your team up for the festival and have your fundraising page set up and ready to go! If you have any registration questions, please phone 204-989-4010, or e-mail: dave@thedreamfactory.ca. Thanks!
