My Personal Fundraising Page
Welcome to my fundraising page! My name is Renee Duplin and I am the Lifesaving Coordinator for the West Chester campus. My work mostly involves working with our lovely fosters and finding temporary placements for a wide variety of animals. I've been with the organization for over a year and I love what I do!
Despite my love of all living beings, I'm a proud cat momma with an affinity for reptiles! All three of my cats have made their way through our system one way or another. Princess was part of our TNR program and was the most socialized adult in her now controlled colony. Sidney was a feral kitten that was spitting and hissing when she first came in as a stray (man, has she come a long way!). Lastly, Tofu was part of transport from Florida that saved over 50 cats and kittens! I also own a snake named Tobiko as well as a colony of pillbugs to help clean up after him. There's not many things I shy away from. Except centipedes, but they're pretty freaky looking...
Princess
Princess really lives up to her name. She didn't have the best start to life but now she's a spoiled queen that rules the household. As an older kitten, she was part of our TNR program and was cared for by a good Samaritan. As she got older, she became more confident and eventually lived in her garage. Now she spends her days with us, demanding pets with a quick nip to the hand. The TNR program is an integral part of our organization and benefits many communities in the area! Without it, the colony that she was in would likely grow to be overwhelming.
Tofu
Tofu came to us from Florida with a severe upper respiratory infection and ringworm at just under 2 months of age. One of the main reasons we do fundraising is to help kittens like her get a second chance of life! Thanks to our rescue efforts, she's now living her best life with her two kitty sisters!
Sidney
This pretty girl just turned 2 this year! Its hard to believe she went from the bitey little monster she was to a friendly cat that greets strangers at the door. Sidney was a stray that came to us in October with her 2 siblings. She was shaking like a leaf and wouldn't allow me to handle her at first. With some patience, she became one of the best cats I ever met. Full of personality and a total sweetheart. Thanks to the work of our fosters, kittens like her get a chance to spend their lives in a home rather than outdoors.
