Volunteer Registration

The Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness would not be possible without the help of all our amazing volunteers. We are seeking energetic, hardworking volunteers to assist with the Pre-Race Events, Packet Pick-up and Race Day events. With a variety of exciting positions available, there is something for everyone, including individuals, teams, school groups, corporate groups, friends and family. 

All volunteers need to be 13 years or older to sign-up for a volunteer shift. Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Day of Race Volunteer Shift Descriptions

Event Set Up

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 40
  • Time Commitment: 6:00am - 8:30am
  • Description: Setting up the race course and festival area.

Event Registration

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 25
  • Time Commitment: 6:00am - 8:30am
  • Description: Assisting walkers and runners with getting registered.

Course Marshals

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 10
  • Time Commitment: 6:00am - 9:00am
  • Description:
  • Assisting runners/walkers who need help along the course, manage traffic, cheer runners.

Cheer Crew (Groups Welcome)

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 40
  • Time Commitment: 6:00am - 9:00am
  • Description: Cheering on runners and walkers along the course.

Festival Area

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 10
  • Time Commitment: 6:00am - 12:00pm
  • Description: Assisting with merchandise, raffles, sponsor booths, VIP booths, and other aspects of the festival area.

Event Clean Up

  • Number of Volunteers Needed: 40
  • Time Commitment: 10:00am - 12:00pm
  • Description: Assisting with cleaning up the course and festival area.
