These times are UNIque!

For over 50 years, Hope Community Resources Inc. (formerly Hope Cottages) has supported Alaskans who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities in over 70 homes across the State of Alaska, as well as other settings..

The ability to “hunker down” and remain safe in these homes has been made possible by the generosity of past donors to offer affordable and sustainable housing. Hope relies on fundraising to supplement over $1 million in housing costs annually to be able to keep monthly rents affordable for our residents.

I know we are all challenged in these times. Some are more challenged in preventing homelessness than others. Help us not let them be forgotten!

The 51st Walk and Roll for Hope is on Saturday, May 2nd 2020, and it will be virtual due to COVID-19 conditions.

Years ago, I rode a UNIcycle and entertained my local community in Christmas parades..

This year, I am issuing a UNIque ROLL for HOPE 2020 challenge to myself and you!

I have been refreshing my UNIcycle riding skills, and need your help in achieving a 5 mile ride..

From Huffman Road (Fire Station 9) to O’Malley Road and back, wearing a COVID-19 clown face mask and with my daughter as a witness/supporter!
